Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research is pleased to be a participant in NIH’s Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program. This program transforms how clinical and translational research is conducted, ultimately enabling researchers to provide new treatments more efficiently and quickly to patients. When fully implemented in 2012, about 60 institutions will be linked together to energize the discipline of clinical and translational science. The University of California, San Francisco, a long-time partner of Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research, is one of the first institutions to receive the prestigious Award. Kaiser Permanente is an active participant in the Community Engagement Program and Clinical Research Center components of the UCSF CTSI.
